Firstly, I don't really like electric blankets. I much prefer a warm enough blanket. However, my wife does like to use them. With this split queen-sized blanket only half of the bed needs to be heated. Since this comes with two controllers that are detachable you only need to plug in the one that you need.Eventually it seems that all electric blankets eventually fail after hopefully many years of use. This blanket seems to be of good quality so I'm assuming that it will last. The extra good thing about this one is that if one side does fail, you can just flip it around and use the other one. Perfect!As far as the controls, this is easy to understand and operate. I like the timer function, although I don't understand the 10-hour setting. Perhaps that's for someone who forgets to turn things off? Good blanket - for those who like this kind of thing.
