I shopped around for months, looking at reviews and trying to find the best mattress to replace my 10 year old king traditional style. I decided on this and went with one that had a used rating but was new with a damaged box. I saved about $100 And I got mine for under 300. I took it out of the box and let it settle for about a half an hour before I needed to go to bed because UPS delivered at around 930 at night that didn’t have any effect on it by the way. It took it about 4 days to fully expand but the mattress was about 8 inches after the first night. The one I boight has the gel which definitely works!!!! Overall I’m very happy, the mattress isn’t quite as stiff as I wanted but I’m happy I bought the ‘used’ and saved hundreds off a top name brand for a product that is 90% as good.I’ve typically preferred firmer mattresses because of the back support. My first experience with a memory foam was an expensive bamboo one I got with my ex several years ago.I remember it feeling hot after a few hours and it enveloping too much. It was one of those weird things where it feels good at the store, but you get home and are like oh, no… lol.I never wanted a memory foam after that - seemed like an overrated fad that was probably cheaper for manufacturers to produce. But I later moved into a furnished flat that had a memory foam mattress from Costco.I adjusted pretty quickly to it and never had that annoying warm feeling (maybe that came from the ex, who knows). I still didn’t like that it wasn’t super convenient to sit up in bed with a book or project.Fast forward to this mattress. I bought it for my new place and am pleasantly satisfied. It was firmer than expected but still has that contouring the hips feeling of the memory foam I like.Looking back, I probably would have paid a little extra for the 12-inch. But, other than that, I really enjoy sleeping ? on it!My husband and I love this mattress and the seller is awesome for using Amazon to handle shipping. I had a very bad experience with another seller and was forced to order another mattress and this seller had our mattress to us within 2 days after ordering so if I could give an extra star just for that I would. The mattress fully inflated within a few hours and was comfortable the very first night. My husband and I have slept a lot better on this mattress so we definitely recommend it and we recommend the seller for very fast shipping. The mattress also looks very nice on our bed.the bed is pretty comfortable i am 5'11 170lb i do not sink into the bed like i thought i would. i was nervous to buy it because it is a bed in a box, however i let it fill with air for a couple of days and so far so good (i've had it around a month) you're buying a bed on amazon, will it last 10years? probably not. but it's only $300 if you want a bed to last that long go to a mattress store and don't order it in the mail. the corners are a little soft, but you'll most likely spend most of your time in the middle of the bed where there are no issues. if you're worried if it's comfortable, it is.I am the most indecisive person, especially when it comes to making a purchase like this - something I will use for longer than a few months. I am one of those people that reads reviews on everything so I am making the most informed decision I can. I read all the reviews on this bed, and all the reviews on similar beds that were similar in price. This one had the most positive reviews, and seemed to be the most bang for your buck.I feel like purchasing a bed should be looked at like a lifelong investment, something that is not only going to help you, but make it worth spending the few hundred bucks to purchase.I purchased the 10" queen size mattress. I was skeptical when it arrived, as it's in a much smaller box than what the mattress size actually is. However, it is vacuum sealed so once you cut that seal - this baby flops open and puffs up pretty quick. The whole unboxing took me 2-3 minutes, and I was able to do by myself with ease. The bed reached it's full puffed up state in a matter of minutes, like less than 5.The mattress itself is not extremely heavy, or awkward to move/carry like most traditional mattresses. For being a queen size, it's actually rather light. I was impressed. The sheets that I had on my traditional queen size mattress fit great, not loose and not so tight it wouldn't stretch over the corners. Standard sheets will fit the 10" size.I can also say that this is the best night sleep I have gotten in over 10 years. This bed is extremely comfy, conforms to your body and truly does feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. As cheesy as that sounds, it's 100% true. I went from waking up with chronic back and neck pain every night, to almost sleeping through my alarm every morning. This bed will NOT let you toss and turn, I promise you. YOU WILL FALL ASLEEP IMMEDIATELY. I don't wake up during the night anymore - if I go to sleep, it's rock solid unconsciousness until I wake up the next morning.BUY THIS BED. SPEND THE $300.YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.I was anticipating a very soft and fluffy mattress for 14 in of memory foam, however, this is not as soft as I would like. I am planning to buy a mattress topper for this because I really crave a bed that lets me sink in!This bed has helped me sleep so much better since 2018. The memory foam works great moldes your body to the bedI needed an affordable mattress and I was apprehensive buying it through Amazon, but when I say this bed is so comfy, it is SO comfy. It’s very firm but forms to your body. 10/10Needed a queen mattress for my daughter’s new bed. Perused various vendors on Amazon and settled on this make due to its good reviews, price ($269 at time of purchase), and free one day shipping (I marvel at placing an order on my phone and having the thing sitting on my porch less than 24 hours later). The mattress comes vacuum sealed in plastic and rolled up in what one would think are impossible proportions. But once unrolled and cut open it puffs out to full size. Instructions indicate to wait 72 hours before use to allow the mattress to fully decompress, which we abided by.The mattress is very comfortable, a perfect blend of soft but firm. And most importantly it gets a thumbs up from its eight year old user.I’ll also add, there was no offensive smell to the mattress as other reviewers seem to have experienced. Not sure what that’s about but no issues with bad odours for us.If you’re in the market for a decent mattress on a tight budget this should be on your list of considerations. I would recommend.* Helpful votes always appreciated *We bought this mattress looking for a well priced mattress for our guest bed. Initially we weren't impressed with it as it looked a little flimsy upon unpacking it from the box. However, after sleeping in it for three nights it seemed to get better and better. I think the mattress took a little time to fill-out and generally speaking was firm and comfortable. I'd buy it again for the price. No doubt very comfortable mattress, easy to inflate, no smell, great packaging, best choice for back issues, once I sleep in it do no more midnight awakening, adjust with your body shape. I have stopped waking up with back pain in the morning. Best investment so far, highly recommended. This mattress was to be a fill-in as I just dumped my old Sears mattress after fifteen years. For the first three weeks, it was a great mattress. However, after that, the memory foam started to break down. I had to rotate the mattress weekly. This particular one gave off a lot of heat, it was supposed to have a cooling effect? Then the Foam started to move away from my body and GEL ELSE where. It made for an interesting night chasing the firm spot I needed. After Five Months it provides no support whatever. It's advertised as a good Mattress unfortunately it only looks that way.Supposed to be a 10 inch mattress....doesn’t look that way. It’s thin. Never really filled out...it’s for our spare room when guests stay over. Guess it will do for that purpose but it’s certainly not as pictured. My husband said it’s pretty firm to lay on. Just disappointing that it’s so tiny/thin.
