Nice quality and promptly deliveredI had previously purchased this same bed protector for my eldest son and I liked it. So I purchased one for my little one. Before this one I bought one from target a bit more expensive and I hated it. Every time my son turned, all you could hear was the sound of the plastic. With this one you can even hear it. I do put a flat sheet over it to help keep it in place (it does stay in place by itself) Keep in mind this matress protector is waterproof to an extent. It will hold if your little ones are still potty training and have an accident but try to change it as soon as possible. When washing I do a gentle load and hang dry to avoid any damage. I've tried no heat but remove promptly and finish with hang dry. The material that goes on the sides and hugs the mattress is delicate so if you consider this item keep this in mind. The top part its a Terry like material. Hope this helps.These are actually waterproof!!I had purchased a pretty expensive "waterproof" mattress cover in the past and it was not actually waterproof so when we had our kids in the bed and they had an accident, we had pee all over our mattress.I bought one of these for each of my kids who sometimes have accidents and they are FANTASTIC!! Dry mattress, no pee smell seeps through either! Wash on cold and dry on normal heat ( not high) and they are holding up. I've already washed them probably 10 times and they're holding up wonderfully!No crunchy sounds, they're soft, and they stretch. My kids mattresses are Amazon brand and they came a couple inches bigger than normal twin mattresses and these fit fine!Definitely recommend if you have kids, are breastfeeding, or any reason to want to protect your mattress!Good product. Locating and availability are great. Price not bad.My mattress is 12 inches with a 3 inch memory foam and a 2 inch plush topper starting to coming apart. I purchased this to hold both of them in place with the mattress, and protect them from stains. Right out of the box, this protector fit perfectly snug with deep pockets. Did exactly what I wanted it to do. No more sliding around and toppers stay perfectly in place. Happy with my purchase.I love this pad for its value definitely water resistant. It was kind of hard to wash because of that.Already got to try this out! My daughter spilled her cup of juice all over our bed and thank God this was on it! It works great! Nothing leaked through to the other side and it was easy enough to just toss in the wash! So far so good. Another thing is we’ve gotten others for my children’s beds and they get extremely hot. This one hasn’t done this. I think we will be buying more for the other beds. Thank you!These were to replace old worn out mattress covers we've had for years. They are definitely worth it and at a great price. Really soft. Since we just got them will have to wait and see how they wash and how they wear.*********This is to update my original post. The mattress covers after a few months have failed terribly. One has leaked thru a couple of times. Since then the other cover has leaked thru also almost ruining the mattress.They have been cared for just like they should have been. They have a lifetime warranty but after trying to send an email to the company to submit a claim on their website I keep getting an error message saying that the page is not working. Amazon has these as their choice pick! I think they should remove that so people won't purchase them, maybe that would raise someone's eyebrow. What will Amazon do for me now? Probably nothing, cause the warranty is on the company we bought them from. Their was actually no paperwork for the lifetime warranty or any info for how to request a replacement under their lifetime warranty.
